1. When do I trim my candle wick?

You should do this after every burn, this will give your candle a longer life and reduce sooting, ensuring a clean burn

2. Is local pick-up available?

Yes, there are designated times available for local pick-up. For more information, please email [email protected]

3. When I purchase online are they made to order?

 Yes, we do have regular fragrances in stock but only in small batches. If there is a fragrance you like but not in the jar you want, we can make it for you with care. Just send us a message or email [email protected]

4. Do you ship overseas? 

No, unfortunately, we only ship within Australia only

5. Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, we do, currently we are using Australia Post for all our rates and shipping, however, I am always looking for alternatives to not rely on one service so as a buyer, you have options for your shipping. 

6. What are your candle sizes?

We have a few sizes to choose from in our ranges from 200gm to a whopping 1.2kg

Classic Range 

 Large Amber Jars - 400gm with an approximate burn time of over 55 hours 

Small Amber Jars - 200gm and burn time of over 40 hours 

Elegant Range

Frosted, Clear, Amber and White Large Jars 300gm and burn time of over 50 hours

Frosted, Clear, Amber and White Small Jars 200gm and burn time of over 40 hours

Diamond Range 

Champagne, White and Rainbow 370gm Jars and burn time of over 50 hours

Candle Bowls 

Ceramic, Clear and white 550gm bowls and burn time of over 65 hours

7. How do you calculate burn time of the candles? 

Our burn time is calculated based on test burning our candles for the recommended 2-4 hours at a time. If you burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time the candle will burn through the wax faster, and will decrease the overall burn time of your candle.

8. What ingredients make up your candles? 

At Ocean Glow Candles, we use 100% natural soy wax with no additives, sourced right here on the Sunny Coast.  The soy wax is a premium quality eco friendly and gives a clean burn.
We use cotton flat braid wicks, with paper fibers (Lead free) for a clean burn and our premium quality natural fragrance oils are produced in Australia

10. How are your candles made? 

All candles are handpoured and packaged by me. 

11. Does your candles contain any parrafin or palm wax?

No, all are waxes we use in our candles  are sustainably sourced, pure and natural, eco friendly and free from mineral waxes
